Associate Mechanical Design Engineer Surrey SXD9990|
This award-winning consultancy has an excellent reputation, strong UK presence and a superb client base. Their London office is growing and continuing to develop, consolidating an already superb reputation and regularly winning exciting projects across numerous industry sectors. Projects will vary in size and complexity. With values in the tens of millions, they will range from residential and commercial schemes to schools and healthcare. Due to this continued success, they are looking for a skilled Mechanical Associate to join their existing team of talented engineers and drive the business forward.
The Associate Mechanical Design Engineer will head up the Building Services design team and manage the delivery of designs and information packages for relevant projects. You will assume the role of design team leader as required and will be able to effectively use Hevacomp and IES as well as Cad and Revit MEP. You will take a leading role in meetings; ensure that projects meet standards and legislative guidelines in addition to Health and Safety aspects of the process. You will oversee site related activities, liaise effectively with engineers from other disciplines as well as clients, ensuring specifications are effectively outlined and met on time and in budget.
You will have extensive experience in Mechanical Building Services, good knowledge of the UK market and your relevant academic background will be supplemented by your Chartered status. You will be hands on, conversant in Hevacomp, IES and Revit MEP in addition to your comprehensive knowledge of relevant standards and legislation. You will be a strong communicator in both team and client-facing capacities. An effective leader, you will have a proven track record of delivering projects across a variety of sectors and with values in excess of £100m and you will live a commutable distance from Caterham. The successful applicant will be dynamic, self-motivated and keen to continue growing and developing within their discipline.
A generous basic salary will be negotiated on an individual basis and will be supplemented by an excellent overall package that includes 25 days holiday, private healthcare, life assurance and car allowance / company car.
