An amazing start-up who has managed to simplify the patient life-cycle with an interesting product idea is now looking for Automation QAs with an in-depth knowledge of Selenium WebDriver Java and Agile methodology. As the platform highly depends on the web services, it is essential to have WEB API (RESTful) testing experience using either SOAP UI or Postman.
Reporting to the QA manager, the Agile QA Automation would be responsible for building, managing and maintaining the automation framework in a hybrid model (page object & BDD) using Cucumber-JVM. As an Automation engineer you would be expected to participate in continuous integration using Jenkins and TestNG on daily basis. Being Agile, you would be a part of daily scrum meetings and play a crucial role.
An idea candidate for this role would be someone who:
- Understands agile like back of his/her hand
- Knows how to build and maintain automation test frameworks using Selenium WebDriver (Java)
- Has carried our end to end testing of a customer facing website
- Knows why automation testing is done in a testing lifecycle
- Has previously worked in either TDD approach and involved in unit testing
- Carried out web service testing in the past for RESTFul APIs using either SOAP UI or Postman
