The job itself is a Digital Marketing Copywriter, and will require an individual with a real passion for writing to join their fast growing, highly reputable company to assist with the increasing demand for high-quality, engaging digital content. This will involve writing articles, blogs, press releases and website copy to strict deadlines, so you will need to be well organised and have a genuine passion for this industry. You will also be required to optimise content accordingly, liaise with management to ensure the quality of work meets set requirements and work closely with the social media team, to maximise the reach of all content. This job will offer you the opportunity to manage your own time efficiently and give you responsibility over your own schedule.
They salary for the Digital Marketing Copywriter is £15'000, and you will also receive other great incentives such as 28 days holiday a year including bank holidays, child care vouchers and a fantastic friendly work environment which even provides a present on your birthday! They are open from 9:00am - 6:00pm Monday - Thursday with one hour for lunch, and 9:00am - 5:00pm on Fridays with 30 minutes for lunch.
To be considered for this opportunity you will need fantastic communication skills, have a clear eye for detail and be able to write creatively. You will ideally have around 1 year of experience in a similar role working with writing copy. It would also be advantageous to your application if you have an English qualification to degree standard, or another related qualification such as journalism. If you note either of these things on your CV, you will be asked to provide evidence at interview stage. Another pointer that would make your application more suitable would be an understanding of search engine optimisation and digital marketing, however this is not essential. You will need to be computer literate and confident in working to deadlines, as well as handling multiple projects at the same time.
