A forward thinking, entrepreneurial consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor into an Associate level to work on a range of prestigious project including Higher Education, Housing, Health, Leisure and Commercial projects.|
Due to an increasing workload, this consultancy is looking to expand their senior team with this Associate role reporting into the Director and managing junior members of staff. They fundamentally offer project and cost management services, however their approach to managing and dealing with clients is more aligned to that of a management consultancy, looking at the client's overall end objective and then working back through the project to ensure that is achieved - adding value where they can rather than just applying a standard model.
The role will be predominantly client facing, working with clients from the inception of the project through to completion, working with the design team and managing the internal team to ensure a high quality service is delivered.
The ideal candidate will be from a consultancy background either as a Quantity Surveyor or as an Employers Agent and will be MRICS or at working towards it. A Contractor Quantity Surveyor would be considered if they had cost planning and budgeting experience as well as contract and tender documentation skills. Ideally they would have previous experience of higher education or healthcare projects, although this is not essential.
This client can offer the incumbent an exciting career path, with projects across multiple sectors, the opportunity to work with BIM on their projects, management responsibility, a competitive salary, bonuses, progression, equity options and relocation prospects.
The offices have a vibrant, team focused atmosphere. They are a fairly young team from the senior management through to the graduates who work well together, sharing information and embracing best practice
