A group company within NTT DATA currently seeks a "IT Project Manager - Maximo" to join our team in "GeorgeTown, Kentucky ".

Position Functions or Responsibilities: Project Description:
This project is for managing an Asset Management (Maximo) implementation project in the Manufacturing & Engineering Services Group.

In this role you will have the opportunity to:
  • Develop project estimates - Gather business requirements from the customer to establish project estimates and to recommend a high-level solution.
  • Develop project workplans and schedules - including Risk Management Plan, Communication Plan, Documentation Plan, Quality Plan, Resource Staffing Plan, and all subordinate workplans.
  • Monitor and Control Project - monitor project scope, issues, risks and schedule. Manage issues to closure. Manage project issues to resolution at lower level.
  • Project Communication - ensure all are aware of progress through project meetings, status reports and milestone reviews.
  • Staff Management - monitor the performance of all resources assigned to project. Take appropriate action to motivate and manage.
  • Product Quality - ensure appropriate design, code and test quality standards are followed in the development of the solution.
  • Manage turnover of project to post production as a Project Requirement including Backup and Recovery procedures.
  • Contribute to the Project Management knowledge base by contributing to department standards and improvement initiatives.
  • Project Reflection - Ensure that problems/difficulties during project are documented and recommendation for improvement is identified
The Ideal Candidate will have:

  • 8+ years of experience managing IT projects
  • Experience managing Asset management implementation - Specifically IBM Maximo asset management tool implementation
  • Familiar with PLC and Equipment in manufacturing
  • Excellent communication skills for client-facing position
  • Strong SDLC experience - Waterfall / RUP
  • Must be able to work independently, given some strategic management direction, must be a self-starter, have the results oriented mindset, and must be detail oriented
Required Skills/Experience:
  • 8+ years of Project Management Experience
  • Experience managing Asset management implementation - Specifically IBM Maximo asset management tool implementation
  • Familiar with PLC and Equipment in manufacturing
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Project
Nice to have:
  • PMP Certification

Basic Qualifications: Required Skills:

  • 8+ years of Project Management Experience
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Project
