Our client is currently seeking a Project Change Controller to assist the Change Manager in the implementation, maintenance and improvement of the change management system/process. |
Experience in change management and ideally cost engineering
You will be required to maintaining & improving change management system, you will also ensure written processes & procedures are in place & up to date for project change management. You will support the effective communication & policing of change management on the project and champion a pro-active procedure not reactive
You will be the point of contact for change status and be responsible for expediting inputs & approvals to the changes as they pass through the system, ensuring change approval. You will be responsible for providing effective reporting of changes at all stages and ensure effective interface with OFTO / Grid package
You will provide transparent and clear reporting of contingency usage and availability and ensure checks are in place so that all project systems (SAP, Cost management, etc.) are providing consistent information and reconcile on a monthly basis. You will also liaise with Procurement and Commercial functions to ensure pending and approved changes are
reflected through variations.
Ideally you will be a person with strong interpersonal skills and need to maintain a firm but friendly approach to ensure divisions are kept in the loop about any proposed and implemented changes. You will also have basic understanding of cost management on how budgets are set and estimates are maintained.
