The role is very adhoc so it'll be impossible to find someone that's done a similar role before i.e. you will need full training but it's a mixture of working with all ledgers i.e. Sales, Contracts, accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing etc. The hiring manager would like someone who has a good all round knowledge, if possible. Basically someone who is methodical, has common sense and is willing to expand their knowledge-base.
Main function of the role:
Business support / contract related admin
key result areas:
Maximising working capital through efficient/timely billing
Driving applications and retrieving payment certs in line with contracted terms
Timely processing of custodial orders
Timely revenue recognition in line with forecast/budget
Enhancing margin potential by identifying fully invoiced contracts with CTC
Enhancing margin potential by identifying uninvoiced GRN’s
Knowledge of all the various ledgers is essential i.e. sales, contract ledger, purchase ledger, debtor ledger, purchasing, general ledger.
Experience required within an admin role of similar nature.
A knowledge of JDE/S&I
A knowledge of mentor (tfis)
Financial control i.e. P&L knowledge
