Job Description:

My client, a large 3rd Party, Commercial Property Management firm is currently seeking a maintenance Team Lead for a Building in their Edmonton Portfolio. This is a CRITICAL ENVIRONMENT building - so any experience in that area is an asset. The Maintenance Team Lead is responsible for overseeing a team of Technicians in the delivery of preventative and corrective maintenance, routine and on-demand services for assigned facilities. The Maintenance Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the execution of activities performed by Technicians to ensure that work is performed in accordance to established processes and practices and is in compliant with all internal and external requirements including environmental, health and safety, fire protection. In addition to people leadership responsibilities, the Maintenance Team Lead also performs and delivers preventative and corrective maintenance as well as routine and on-demand services. My client needs an Electrical/HVAC trade ticket. The Maintenance Team Lead role requires a trade ticket to managed and work on HVAC/Chiller/leak test and or electrical, schedule high voltage maintenance/IR and scanning/troubleshooting. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Leads the delivery of as well as performs the following:Oversees and monitors the activities and performance of Technicians within assigned NA the proper application and execution of processes and practices to ensure achievement of and adherence to all requirementsOversees and performs regular facility, facility mechanical and electrical equipment and systems monitoring and inspection, preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure facility uptime objectives are met, uninterrupted client operation and asset integrity of assigned facility are NA observations about facility, facility mechanical and electrical equipment and systems conditions and deficiencies and provides recommendations for enhancement and repairOversees and monitors assigned facility by conducting facility walkthroughs, mechanical and electrical equipment and system monitoring and inspectionOversees the maintenance of as well as maintains work order records within service management maintenance database. Initiates documents to obtain formal approval of work requiredCoordinates and assists in the implementation of preventative maintenance program. Ensures that deficiencies are identified, recorded and escalated, and that related documentations are maintainedCoordinates and participates in facility-related projectsOversees and maintains all assigned tools and arranges for repair and replacement where required. Submits all expenditures on a timely basis Qualifications:5 years of facility operations and maintenance work experiencePrevious people leadership experience, preferredHigh school diploma plus trades training and certificationAbility to lead a team of individualsHighly-advanced ability to adhere to processes and practices relating to facility operations and maintenanceHighly-advanced ability to maintain and repair building mechanical and electrical equipment and systemsHighly-advanced building mechanical and electrical equipment and system troubleshooting and resolution skillsCurrent knowledge of fire, life, safety and building codes and standards and ability to research and apply related codes and standards Licenses and/or Professional AccreditationJourneyman level Refrigeration licenseJourneyman level Electrical licenseJourneyman level Plumbing licensePower Engineering 3rd Class or 4th Class
