PIC has an immediate opening for a Credit & Collections Officer in our HQ offices (Oshawa, Ontario) Canada. Job Description: Contacting customers by phone and/or email, developing relationships, confirming payment arrangements and amounts or determining reasons for slow payment to ensure collection of outstanding invoices Scheduling and making follow up calls to identify and resolve any payment issues Maintaining call logs, customer cards, etc. in the receivables/billing system Coordination of PIC and client staff, to ensure proper documentation is processed by the client to complete payment to PIC Provide clients with any supporting documentation as required Interfacing with PIC staff to get their assistance in the collection process as necessary Communicating with all levels of management in collection efforts and reporting on cash collections and receivables outstanding Coordinating and fulfilling internal procedures for collection of delinquent accounts Reconciling customer accounts upon request Creating spreadsheets showing activity for larger customers Creating reports to help keep Operations and Sales informed on non-paying customers Preparing various reports on cash collections, outstanding receivables, credit notes, etc. Preparing credit reports and determining credit limits for new customers as required Automotive Collections - 3rd party sorting and containment Reconcile accounts with recommendations to Management on bad debts & legal Ability to coordinate, prioritize, problem solve and multitask Excellent verbal and written communication skills Able to work in a fast-paced environment High levels of enthusiasm, energy, persistence and dedication Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to follow through to achieve goals Other duties as assigned Qualifications: 3+ years accounts receivable / collections experience Post secondary education in related field an asset Proficient in Microsoft Office, Strong Microsoft Excel Skills (Advanced level) Familiarity with Microsoft Navision an asset Strong written and verbal communication skills Fluent in Spanish (Verbal & Written) preferred
