Aerospace Flight Test Instrumentation Technician - Position located in Seattle, WA Candidates must have legal authorization to work in the United States, Canada or Mexico. Currently looking for experienced Instrumentation Technicians with aerospace or automotive backgrounds to fill openings with an aerospace flight test, engineering and certification organization located in the Seattle, WA area. The ideal candidate will have formal instrumentation training and 2 - 15 years of Instrumentation experience. The strategic purpose of the Test and Evaluation (T&E) Support Unit is to provide comprehensive, full-service aerospace flight-testing and evaluation services. The Test and Evaluation Support Unit provides four areas of expertise: Test Planning, Instrumentation, Ground Operations and Flight Operations. This position is responsible for maintenance support of all flight operations Responsibilities of the Flight Test Instrumentation Technician:Reading and creating wire NA or auditing appropriate sensors given engineering NA with customers and engineers to define appropriate instrumentation NA instrument installations and creating installation NA NA instrumentation installations for function and NA instrumentation NA acquisition system NA data system practices and NA instructions and operation NA sensor calibration and functional test NA calibration NA and international travel may be required. Desired Qualifications of Instrumentation Technicians3+ years instrumentation experience in a testing environment. Aircraft flight test NA personal accountability, initiative and versatility on a consistent basis with minimal NA to work interdependently, and lead small NA V experience NA with data processing and analysis NA programming experience NA in working with Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel.
