Job Description:

Aerospace Electrical Engineer - Position located in Seattle, WA Candidates must have legal authorization to work in the United States, Canada or Mexico The strategic purpose of the Test and Evaluation (T&E) Support Unit is to provide comprehensive, full-service aerospace flight-testing and evaluation services. The Test and Evaluation Support Unit provides four areas of expertise: Test Planning, Instrumentation, Ground Operations and Flight Operations. This position is responsible for maintenance support of all flight operations We are seeking aerospace engineers with electrical systems experience to join the team in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will possess aircraft certification experience with a specialty in electrical systems. Essential Functions:Coordinate system test and certification NA flight test and ground test NA test data and evaluate system NA test NA and occasional international travel is required. Desired Qualifications:Understanding of power distribution system, failure cases, load shedding, electrical power managementUnderstanding of EWIS and wiring a plus5+ years relevant work experience related to electrical systems integration and certification. Should include experience with power generation, control, distribution and integration with the NA with FAA Part 25 or Part 23 certification, flight and ground test planning and test conduct, and test data NA to think critically, identify and synthesize important information necessary to inform client NA ability to analyze results, develop defensible conclusions and recommendations, and communicate clearly and effectively verbally and in writing (summaries, documents, reports, presentations).A team player with the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment and work effectively with others across disciplines, functions, and NA personal accountability, initiative and versatility on a consistent basis with minimal NA to represent the client professionally and positively during client interactions and NA in working with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to quickly learn to operate new NA degree or equivalent combination of work experience. Focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or related Science.
