Job SummaryWe are currently seeking a detail oriented and motivated individual who can work with minimal NA the Laminator with manufacturing of specific NA bills of lading. Maintain an orderly workspace. Coordinate all warehouse paperwork. Ability to interface with Customer Service personnel to ensure orders are processed correctly. Job Duties:Load, unload, sort and move shipments by hand or using material handling equipmentExamine shipment contents and compare with records to verify accuracy of shipmentPack, seal and label materials to prepare for shippingAdhere to shipping and receiving policies/procedures and regulatory complianceMaintain compliance with laws, regulations and standards to complete appropriate NA documents such as work orders, bills of lading and shipping orders to route materialsPrepare necessary documents from computer systems such as packing slipsRecord shipment data for reporting, accounting and recordkeeping purposesContact carriers to make arrangements for shipping and pick up of materialsConfer and correspond with establishment reps to rectify problems, shortages, damages, NA and store shipping supplies to maintain stock inventoryMaintain shipping and receiving areaCommunicate and coordinate with internal departmentsProvide feedback on efficiency of shipping/receiving processWork with the Laminator in the manufacture of specific productsProvide back-up to the Laminator if and when requiredAssist in setting up and maintaining the Laminating machine Key Competencies:Interpersonal Skills: maintains confidentiality; listens to others; remains open to others' ideas; keeps emotions under controlCommunication Skills: speaks/writes clearly and informatively; able to read and interpret written information/directions; listens and gets clarificationProblem solving: identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; develops alternative solutions; works well in a group; gathers and analyzes information skillfullyAdaptability: manages competing demands; able to deal with frequent change or unexpected eventsInitiative: takes independent action; asks for and offers help when needed; looks for and takes advantage of opportunities; volunteers readilyQuality: demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; monitors own work to ensure quality and accuracyDependability: follow instructions; takes responsibility for own actions; keeps commitments; completes tasks on time or communicates with and alternate planTeamwork: exhibits objectivity and openness to others' views; contributes to building a team spirit; able to build morale and group commitments to goals and objectives QualificationsHigh School diploma, general education degree or equivalent1+ year of shipping and receiving experience a plusProficient with forklifts, pallet jackets and other material handling equipmentGood written and oral communication skillsKnowledge of Health & Safety Procedures
