Job Description:

POSITION OVERVIEW: The employee shall carry out his/her duties and responsibilities in a competent, trust-worthy and loyal manner. It is expected that the employee will maintain a level of work which is quality based, timely, efficient and professional on behalf of CEC. This position is for the afternoon shift (Monday - Thursday 2:20pm - 12:50am) and has a $2/hour shift premium. TERMS: As per Employment NA (Reports To): Production ForemanSUPERVISES: N/ADUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible to prepare and paint industrial NA for all painting NA for quality of workmanship, having an eye for NA that time is properly tracked and allocated to each job for costing purposes, by scanning in and out of the jobs through NA materials are properly tracked and allocated to each job for costing NA a safe work environment by taking pride in a well-organized/maintained production area as well as maintaining a safe work environment within that department on each job. Responsible to identify areas for improvement, ways to better expedite and gain production efficiencies, and cost NA be punctual and available for a minimum of 40hrs of work per NA work in accordance with CEC documented policies and proceduresComplete all applicable Quality records QUALIFICATIONS:EDUCATIONGrade 10 education or equivalent experience. EXPERIENCE3 to 5 years Painting experience, journeyman or equivalent experience. PHYSICALWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust NA to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the NA to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure NA SKILLSCERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES / PERMITS- Journey PainterOTHERAbility to identify paint materials.
