Your new Job
You will manage and assist the maintenance engineering team of the business, that ensures that internal maintenance requests and demands are carried out by meeting timescales and targets.
You will monitor and review the work carried out by the engineering team as well as delegate jobs to insure the manufacturing function of the business is performance. You will also carry out your own engineering jobs and project set by your manager. You will review the maintenance work carried out and make recommendations for best practice. You will collate information and assess how the business can reduce time and costs and utilise your team effectively. You will support your team ensuring that health and safety, food and engineering legislation is adhered too. You will manage your departments budget and understand the department constraints and always strive for excellence and ensure your team are meeting their SLAs.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience in a supervisory role and come from an engineering management or a supervisory background. As well as having the knowledge of an manufacturing engineer.
