The Mechanical Engineering Technician Spring Internship Program is a strategic program that enables participants to combine their coursework experience with the skills and real world experience needed to broaden their knowledge across the Mechanical Engineering Technician spectrum.

Through our student internship, you'll benefit from the combination of classroom theory and real world experience. You will receive on-the-job training where interns can work with multiple areas of Diesel Engine build, fabricate and test.

Our internships will give you hands-on experience and valuable knowledge that will last you a lifetime. You'll make valuable contacts and get the inside view of Mechanical Engineering from the industry leader.

This program is a 10-12 week program and curriculum may include one or many of the following subjects:
• Build Area:
o V-903s
o Ms All Models ( ISM/ ISX )
o C & L' s----All Models
o ISX / QSK / Falcon /Monarch Models
o K-19 Models
o Engine Disposals

• Fabrication:
o Mig welding
o TIig welding
o Test Cell Pipe Fabrication
o MISC. Fabrication
• Test Cells:
o Cyflex
o Nox Carts
o Smoke Meter Operation
o Hydro Carbon Carts/ FTIR
o Has obtained a forklift license
o Know the LOTO and all safety requirements
o Knows procedures for driveline torque and maintenance.
o Knows what size and configuration of pipes to properly set up the exhaust within the test cell.
