Northern Sales Manager
Field based role - Most of time spent in North UK and Midlands, but the candidate must be willing to travel nationally when required.
Home based with occasional requirement to be in the office based in Yorkshire.
(Manchester, Leeds,Birmingham, Nottingham,Derby)
Basic £21-27,000 (dependant on experience)
+ Fully Expensed Company Car

My client is a leading manufacture of Office Furniture and Storage products. They are extremely well known in the market, with over 35 year's experience.
Due to the companies success and expansion plans, they are now recruiting a Sales Project Manager to join their team!

This opportunity will provide you with the potential to grow into an experienced Project Manager or an Area Sales Manager within 2 years.
Assisting the team with projects from concept to completion
Ensuring smooth installation takes place on all projects, so that the customer is satisfied with the end project
Regularly meeting with Architects and Designers in the industry to promote the company products and gain specifications
80% project management / 20% meeting with Architects, Designers
Managing a wide portfolio of projects ranging in value from £20k to £1mil
Generating new business through regular contact with Architects, Designers, and End Users
Manage your own time and diary
Skills & Experience Required
1-2 years experience in the Furniture, Construction or Interiors Market
An understanding of project processes and specification sales
An ability to persuade, influence and develop client relationships to secure new opportunities
Must be confident and comfortable to speak with clients (Architects, Designers, Directors, End Users, Main Contractors, Business Managers, and Estates Managers etc) on a face to face level, as well as via the phone
Ability to communicate at all levels with both colleagues and clients
Desire to succeed and progress in the Furniture market
Must be a team player as will be working with closely with Area Sales Managers and Project Managers
Working knowledge of excel, outlook, and Power Point
Prince 2 Project Management qualification is desirable but not essential - The Company are willing to put the successful candidate through their Prince 2 Project Management qualification if not already done so
The candidate must have a Full UK Driving license as this position involves National Travel
