However you will have as a minimum:

A Main Contracting background.

Tangible experience in RC Frame New Build, in residential, education and care.

Demonstrable experience as a Number One Contracts Manager (or alternatively a compelling case as an "up and coming" Contracts Manager, who is ready for the next step).

Solid track record of working for employers for number of years.

Practical knowledge and an understanding of Construction methods.

An ability and desire to take the initiative and drive projects forward.

A degree in Construction or equivalent.

A passion for Construction.

To report to the Construction Director predominately working on New Build RC Frame projects but with some Refurbishment as well.

To be responsible for all projects in terms of Commercial Performance, Delivery, Quality, Safety, Programming.

To lead the project team and provide direction and co-ordination of the company's efforts to undertake Building Contracts to the best advantage of the company.

Audit safety and ensure the company's compliance with all current legislation and to promote safe practice on site. To audit on and off site quality of product and ensure compliance with the contract specification.

To audit progress and ensure completion of all projects within the time constraints determined by the building contract.

Audit: Site Administration, Information flow, Buildability and problem solving, Commercial return, Accuracy of reports

Be a catalyst within the team in the challenge of working cohesively and positively towards it objectives.

Ensure that the sub-contract marketplace is continually researched to identify organisations with whom the company should do business with.
