We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join our national award winning clients dynamic and progressive team in their Cardiff offices.|
This is a technical and client facing role where you will be responsible for design quality and the profitable delivery of your own projects.
You will be using your skills and experience to be lead designer on multiple projects (mostly at different stages) and ensuring delivery of detailed design including full tender and construction packages.
Other duties include analysis and design calculation production, quality management, training to ensure your professional CPD requirements are met, and liaising effectively with the design team along with other company departments.
Being a mechanical engineering graduate or holding an equivalent qualification along with relevant working experience you will have strong awareness of design and construction processes and stages.
You will also be working towards CIBSE or IMechE chartered status, aqnd our client will offer full support and development to assist in you achieving this.
This is a challenging and demanding role that will suit someone who is highly organised and who thrives under pressure with the proven ability to meet deadlines quality standards as required.
Having excellent IT skills with strong problem solving ability, you will ideally have experience of working with Rivet & 3D BIM although this is not essential.
