Local Solutions is looking for two motivated workers to develop and coordinate a new Supported Lodgings & Nightstop service covering the borough of Conway. This new provision will be based within the county of Conway, North Wales.|
The Nightstop service will provide emergency accommodation for young people aged 16-21 in placements with Householders throughout the borough. The Supported Lodgings service provides longer term accommodation and assists young people aged 16-21 to develop the necessary skills required for independent living.

The Supported Lodgings & Nightstop Co-ordinators will:
Develop and maintain the Local Solutions Supported Lodgings & Nightstop Service in response to existing and emerging needs.
Attend team meetings, supervision and groups as necessary and to report back to the manager as required.
Monitor and evaluate different aspects of the projects, including producing reports, keeping up to date records, the supporting of both householders and accommodated young people. This will include the monitoring and evaluation of the Supported Lodging & Nightstop services.
Ensure the continued development of appropriate procedures for the Supported Lodgings & Nightstop service. This also includes ensuring that all commissioning requirements & Local Solutions policies and procedures are implemented.
Work on a national level with other projects within Nightstop UK on good policy and practice.
Co-ordinate the recruitment, assessment, training and ongoing support for householders. This could include: open days, induction training, home visits and ensuring health, safety, gas & security checks take place and keeping accurate records of these.
Manage and support householders participating in the Supported Lodging & Nightstop Service. This will initially be householders but may include volunteer members as the scheme expands. This will include the training, support and supervision of householders as appropriate.
Be responsible for the Service's assets, materials and correspondence.
Carry out other duties as may from time to time arise, develop or be assigned by the operational manager.
The successful Supported Lodgings & Nightstop Co-ordinators will have:
Assessment, mediation & crisis intervention skills
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent care discipline & direct experience of working with young people.
Must be highly flexible in regards to working hours.
Full current driving license & use of private vehicle.
Enhanced DBS required.
The salary is £21,281.58 per annum - 40 hours per week & £10,644.79 per annum - 20 hours per week.
