Epicor Project Manager - ERP, Epicor, MS SQL., Project Manager - CONTRACT - £400 - £500 pd|
Delivering high quality systems, ensuring data accuracy, longevity and security is where the Project Manager role is positioned, the role aims to support the development of systems for manufacturing, including shop floor processes, data capture, supporting bespoke application development, sequencing, traceability, labelling and bar coding; an appreciation of PLC technologies is also important.
◾Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
◾Understand and define stakeholder needs and provide recommendations.
◾Support process conception and re-engineering initiatives.
◾Understand and define business problems and primary objectives.
◾Analyse and model existing business processes creating technical functional specifications, backed up by structured analysis techniques and methodologies.
◾Evaluate potential software solutions, including off-the-shelf, open source and bespoke options.
◾Work closely with external developers supporting and directing bespoke solutions.
◾Ensure detail design meets architectural requirements of the IT infrastructure.
◾Validate solutions with all key stakeholders, ensuring delivery is in line with expectations.
◾Develop a clear understanding of systems, providing and supporting programme deliverables.
◾Should have proven experience in delivering projects and able to demonstrate experience from concept to delivery, with a bias to manufacturing projects and integrating with PLC's.
◾Ideally have experience in MSSQL database systems, able to query a database using SQL.
◾The ability, confidence and tact necessary to challenge and put forward new ideas.
◾Experience of being part of a small manufacturing IT team delivering business improvements on a regular basis.
◾Be highly self - motivated, production aware team player, with effective communication skills.
◾Applicants should be educated to Degree level or equivalent, in a relevant IT Discipline.
◾Have worked in an IT Manufacturing Automotive role, ideally from technical background e.g. Database, Server Admin, Developer.
◾Small IT teams require a cross section of skills, as well as being highly proficient as a Manufacturing Systems Analyst, the individual will be involved in various IT integration aspects, which offers a varied, rewarding and challenging environment to work within.
◾Self-starter, who will own the quality and delivery of their work, from conception to delivery.
