We are looking for a one-in-a-million techy to join the team at Tablet Technologies just outside Takeley in Essex, a fast growing company supplying rugged tablets and mobile phones to customers all over the globe.
The job is about much more than knowing which end of a screwdriver is which. We need people who thrive in a busy and varied environment and are equally happy talking to customers by telephone or email, giving technical advice to the sales team, disassembling a Tablet computer or mobile device, building a new software version, troubleshooting a fault, or opening and packing boxes.
You need to be a fast learner, motivated, versatile, able to task switch and prioritise, properly document work done and understand the importance of quality work and customer satisfaction in everything you do. While you will need a range of basic hardware and software expertise you'll be backed by a friendly and experienced team, so there's no need to worry about asking for help if you need it.
If all your friends come to you when they break their mobile phone, or you built your own custom spec PC, or you enjoy building new projects for your Raspberry Pi, or even have prior experience working for a PC or mobile device manufacturer, then we want to hear from you!

Essential technical skills:
Practical experience of PC/laptop troubleshooting and disassembly/reassembly
Good knowledge of Android on mobile devices
Solid experience of Windows 7/10 installation and device driver install, preferably on mobile devices
Useful technical skills:
Practical experience of mobile and/or tablet device troubleshooting and disassembly/reassembly
Knowledge of Norton Ghost, Windows DISM and similar software build tools
Ability to solder
