We are looking for Rollout Engineer's (MFD / MFP specific) with 3rd line support levels of technical / troubleshooting ability. Preferably with experience of using configuring equitrac / server side print queues / Fax over IP.
Working alongside our 3rd party vendor in deploying managed print services throughout our clients sites. (100 + Sites) within Essex and London area
The post holder will consistently deliver a "client-focused" service which promotes good customer service and effective working relationships. Excellent command of the English language demonstrated through good verbal and written communication. Must be detail conscious, accurate and methodical in approach. Strong organisational and communication skills able to work systematically and use own initiative.
The MPS Rollout engineers will be working alongside 3rd party vendor to deploy over 600+ MFD across 123 sites. You must have a Driving License and your own car as you will be required to travel to multiple client sites around the Essex and surrounding areas.
For this roll there are some very key skills sets that we require:
•Hands on experience of Printer management.
•Prior Managed Print services deployment experience.
•Experience of Equitrac software (not essential)
•Print server management.
•DHCP management (Reserving IP addresses).
•Working knowledge of faxes and fax boxes (Audicodecs or Cisco ATA).
•Creation of generic mailboxes and assigning permissions
•Exceptional customer service skills as the user will be interacting with staff (who sometimes will not embrace the change).
•Good communication skills at a user and technical level to ensure the user understands how to use the product (Training skillset).
•Work as part of a team, as it will be the responsibility of the engineer to ensure sites are operational and signed off.
•It is key that the individual is versatile as they will be working with the networks, server, telecoms and 2nd line support team to deliver this project alongside 3rd party vendor
Standard requirements are:
•Provide effective 2nd line end-user on site, telephone, email & self-service support of ICT systems
•Day to day support of networks, servers and other infrastructure including Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Cisco phone system etc
•Maintain administrative tasks.
•Functional escalation of tickets to other support teams in cases where a suitable FCR or 2nd line fix is not achievable.
•To be aware of and abide by company policies across the whole business.
•Manage ad-hoc requests / task as and when they arise.
•Maintain a professional demeanour and deliver "client-focused" support in line with the companies values.
•Working alongside several team departments, keeping the teams up-to-date as and when required.
•Active Directory administrative tasks, printer / print server management, mailbox & user account creation etc.
•The post holder must show the ability to identify the range of people likely to be involved in the communication, any potential communication differences and relevant contextual factors. In particular showcase excellent communication skills both verbal and written particularly when communicating complex IM&T related information to own peer groups, non-technical staff, customers and suppliers
•The post holder Communicates with people in a form and manner that is consistent with their level of understanding, culture, background and preferred ways of communicating is appropriate to the purpose of the communication and the context in which it is taking place encourages the effective participation of all involved
