A forward thinking team of Building Services Consulting Engineers are currently looking to expand their team in London Bridge. Due to continuous expansion plans, they are looking to hire an Associate Director level Mechanical Design Engineer to join their critically acclaimed design team on London, on a full time, permanent basis.

This vacancy entails working closely with all members of the MEP Design team and the successful candidate will take an active role in developing multi-disciplined design and helping to deliver a range of projects based specifically within the residential and new build commercial sectors.

Candidates will be degree qualified in a building services discipline with a mechanical orient and chartered (or on the path to Chartership). You will have at least 10 years' experience working within an engineering consultancy with particular experience of managing design team of up to 6 Mechanical engineers, improving quality and mentoring junior members of the mechanical team.

Role requirements:

* Develop and present project design proposals to a client following the initial brief and Practice discussions so that client requirements are met, acting as either lead consultant or as member of a design team
* Prepare, ready for tender, specifications, designs, drawings, equipment schedules and contract documentation
* Manage, guide and develop technical subordinates in order that they may fully participate in their various teams
* Maintain an up to date knowledge of new techniques and technologies by participating in conferences, attending Continual Professional Development sessions, reading technical in media etc
