KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES OF POSITION:
1 . Deliver discipline specific engineering services that meet WorleyParsons, its clients and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
2 . Perform engineering assignments on projects that meet project requ irements on time and within budget.
3 . Perform discipline specific engineering services such as:
a ) identify and report changes to project scope;
b ) assist with the preparation of project documentation such as proposals, estimates, budgets and proposals and schedules;
c ) contribute to appropriate studies, analyses and recommend actions;
d ) assist with the preparation of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations and reports;
e ) provide assistance during procurement, construction and commissioning activities. For example, write requisitions, conduct technical bid evaluations and write purchase orders.
4 . Provide technical support and assistance within the discipline team and liaise with the project team.
5 . If required, assist and support junior personnel within the discipline team.
6 . Communicate effectively with the discipline team and project stakeholders.
7 . Establish and maintain good working relationships within WorleyParsons, with its clients and other stakeholders.
8 . Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance if required.
9 . Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and technical innovations in the discipline.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS / COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
J ob Specific:
1 . Within the relevant discipline:
a) Effective technical and practical engineering skills and able to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to WorleyParsons and its clients.
b ) A good working knowledge of the fundamental requirements of the discipline, and the basic requirements of other disciplines.
c) A good working knowledge of applicable local standards and statutory and regulatory requirements.
2 . Competent in the use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite and discipline specific software.

Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering
Professional Engineer in Control Systems or Electrical engineering preferred
10 years experience in the Power Generation Industry a must: Gas Turbines, Combined Cycle, Brownfield projects, etc.
