Experienced Instrumentation Technician now urgently required for a well-established chemical manufacturing plant. With 20 plants in operation, this family owned business have an excellent reputation for supplying products globally to a variety of industries including detergent, paper, water treatment and chemical.|
The Instrumentation Engineer will primarily be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, calibration and fault finding of the following:
? Temperature probes
? PH & ORP
? Pressure transmitters
? Gas detectors
We are seeking applicants with a proven instrumentation background from a process industry. You will be expected to provide installation & commissioning expertise on new projects travelling to other sites in the UK 2-3 times a year to provide additional support. On these occasions, all travel will be covered including provision of a hire car.
An understanding of PLC systems, electrical diagrams and the ability to fault find PLC systems would be highly advantageous
