An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Inventory Specialist to join Raytheon Australia's Submarine Combat Systems, Platform Support team at Henderson, Western Australia.
Accountable to the Inventory Team Lead, the Inventory Specialist will be responsible for updating and maintaining the inventory management systems.
The Inventory Specialist will analyse inventory information in support of inventory forecasting and will support the development and analysis of data to ensure that the Supply System is operating as required to meet program KPI's.
In this role you will act as Material Controller for Shipyard and Delivery Teams managing material demands (receipt/issue) and stocktake for both codified and non-codified inventory.
Codification & Cataloguing tasks in MILIS
Respond to requests for assistance submitted through the Collins Supply Helpdesk function
Create and manage inventory transactions on MILIS/EAGLE including material demand, transfer, receipt, and disposal
Maintain the Inventory Master List (IML)
Analyse material fill rates and provide Estimated Delivery Date information
Coordinate the physical receipt of materials. Hasten material demands where required.
Act as the main point of contact for the supply management of urgent material demands.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Sound experience with complex inventory management functions using a modern Material Requirement Planning tool (MRP), and the Defence inventory management system MILIS
Demonstrated experience operating modern inventory management systems in a dynamic, high tempo environment
Solid written, oral and presentation skills
Formal qualifications (Cert III or higher) in a Logistics related discipline (Engineering / Supply / Logistics), or equivalent technical trade experience.
