Service & Installation Engineer - M4-M40 corridor - from £25kpa plus overtime |
Our company is a leader in the design, manufacture & installation of security equipment.
They require 2 Service & Installation Engineers to carry out installs, maintenance & servicing in the M4 -M40 corridor.
The role of the Service & Installation Engineer will involve fitting skills in both mechanical and electrical disciplines. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate relevant experience and core knowledge of typical types of industrial and commercial equipment which could include electrical & mechanical plant, electric motors, control systems etc.
The successful candidate will be suitably qualified at C&G level in at least mechanical or electrical disciplines.
However, overall background and previous work experience will be noted and taken into account
A particular work requirement is for the candidate to have knowledge of electrical control fault finding at component level. Experience of PLC controls is an advantage.
The candidate must demonstrate that he/she can work on electrical equipment rated at 230V and ideally be qualified to C&G 2382 -12 17th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations.
The ability to read and fully understand electrical control diagrams, site installation drawings etc. is essential.
A full driving license is essential
Product familiarisation and training will be provided
A laptop computer and mobile phone is provided together with all relevant software in order to efficiently communicate with the management team.
A fully serviced and equipped vehicle will be provided for all business use.
