Our client is an international Lift company who are looking for a Technical Training Manager to work from their London office but traveling to different regions to deliver the training.|
Main purpose of the job:
Establish the companies UKC and DUB technical training budget and technical training plan.
Technical training consists of product and methods training for NI, MOD, Repair and Maintenance.
Manage the Group certification program for UKC /DUB
Manage the Apprenticeship program for UKC /DUB
Manage the UKC VFO's in accordance with Group ON and Mandatory technical training targets
Prepare the annual technical training plan, including the corresponding budget with training hours and costs
Manage and ensure the execution of the technical training plan, directly delivering the training with the Master Trainers
E valuate the training needs relative to the business plan.
Keep up to date with the latest technologies - Group and UKC /DUB
Manage the Group Certification Program, including gap identification and training closure loop.
Support with CPSI works and relevant training
Support with DLFI training , including DLFI methodology, training and execution.
Deliver on site and classroom training when required.
Manage the companies apprentice program - Including Mentorship and direct training
Manage the Group certification program for UKC and DUB
Manage the UKC NVQ program

Thorough knowledge to expert level on company Products and services

Confident & Engaging - Particularly when delivering training to participants (Group) - Proven track record of delivering
Passion for training others
Interest in developing people
Analytical , with proven eye for long term strategic planning
Proven training management skills developed through similar training management roles
Direct coaching, mentoring and facilitated learning & development experience
High level of technical competence on Schindler and 3 rd Party equipment
Experienced and able to develop and also present training materials
Qualified Lift Engineer ( or equivalent) as a minimum - Lift Installer/Lift Maintenance
Excellent communication skills verbal, written and presenting
Skilled in IT, especially; power - point, e - mail, MS Program including excel
SAP Skills (LMS)
Good knowledge and a promoter of health and safety
Capable of managing the development and innovating a range of Teaching Aids
Full Driving License required
A proven track record within the elevator and escalator industry - Lift engineer / Installer
Experienced in both Construction and Maintenance/Service/Repair
Prepared to travel
Overnight stays required
SALARY IS VERY COMPETITIVE AND ON THE HIGH END OF GOING RATE
MUST HAVE PREVIOUS MANAGERIAL OR SUPERVISORY EXPERIENCE IN THE LIFT INDUSTRY
