Facilities Manager / Maintenance Manager required for a luxury 5* hotel based in Central London (West End). The Facilities Manager / Maintenance Manager will be specifically tasked with all mechanical and electrical plant equipment ensuring that all reactive breakdowns are addressed as well as completing all planned maintenance works. The Facilities Manager / Maintenance Manager will also coordinate any project work involving plant equipment that is being upgraded or moved on site.

The Facilities Manager / Maintenance Manager will be working closely with and reporting to the Chief & Assistant Chief Engineer and be the linked between the management team and the engineers onsite. The Facilities Manager / Maintenance Manager will take ownership of the schedules to ensure the delivery of planned and reactive service and maintenance of all services with the hotel, this will include mechanical, electrical and fabric building repairs.

The primary duty is to ensure the smooth daily running of the hotel by proactively managing Maintenance Engineers and approved Sub Contractors to ensure that ongoing maintenance programmes for the hotel across the entire spectrum of assets i.e. Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Heating, Plumbing, Water Treatment, Lighting, Power, Kitchen Equipment, Generators, Switch Rooms, Lifts etc. are being completed.

Proven experience as an engineer with plant knowledge is expected as well as more recent man-management experience. The role will be demanding with flexibility required with regards to working hours depending on project deadlines.

Facilities Manager / Maintenance Manager Position Requirements

* Proven experience in FM and maintenance environment dealing with MEP plant equipment.
* Technical competence of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing services.
* IT literate
* Proven track record in Managing PPM and Reactive Works
* Worked on contracts where the end client's location is high end, luxury hotels or shops etc.

Facilities Manager / Maintenance Manager Position Remuneration

* Salary £35,000 - £45,000
