ENGIE are recruiting for a Mobile Technical Supervisor to be based between Milton Keynes and Sutton in Ashfield. This is a permanent full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary of £33,000 per annum.|
Main Responsibilities / Duties Include
To conform to ENGIE standards, rules and procedures
To carry out scheduled maintenance tasks, repairs and operations of equipment and services in accordance with best practice.
To carry out reactive works associated with HVAC and other plant where appropriate to site
To be familiar with and understand their own role in the site contingency plans for dealing with emergency situations.
To ensure that all third party contractors that are requested to carry out work on site, do so in a safe and professional manner and abide by any company or site specific procedures.
To ensure that the Service Manager is kept informed of all aspects of safety performance, plant performance and customers circumstances that may impact upon the safe, efficient, reliable and cost effective operation of the plant and smooth operation of the plant.
To become familiar with all Company and site procedures, which affect him/her, assist the Service Manager in the completion of all administrative tasks identified by the ENGIE ICMS quality system or required by the Customer.
To assist in producing Method Statements and Risk Assessments
To seek opportunities to develop business potential
To supervise and mentor team of engineers within own area of contract
To assist were needed with trouble shooting or technical support throughout the contract portfolio
To ensure all ppm and statutory compliance tasks are completed in the required time scales
Fulfilling the Site Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) responsibilities and customer targets
Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of plant and equipment (as identified in contract agreement) while on shift
Safely and efficiently maintain and repair plant and equipment (as identified in the contract agreement)
To supervise and Mentor members of team offering guidance and hands on training
To ensure that all quotations are submitted in a timely and accurate manner
To have input in to site and contract monthly reports
To ensure that all compliance tasks and checks are completed and accurately recorded
Fully qualified (to current minimum legislative standards) HVAC engineer with appropriate background
Minimum NVQ3 or equivalent in relevant discipline
Qualified to IEE 17th Edition Regulations
Refrigeration and A/C qualifications
Able to use Microsoft package including word excel and powerpoint
Good knowledge of L8 regulations
Proven skills in supervision
Health and safety qualified
Knowledge of HVAC maintenance techniques
Knowledge of HVAC systems and associated equipment where appropriate to site
Understanding of all relevant legislative and statutory requirements relating to the site
Control and implementation of Safe Systems of Work
