Advisory Services offers strategic and management consulting services to support our core business and to directly serve private clients to help them resolve their most challenging problems. Our team operates throughout the life cycle of an infrastructure asset, its supply chain from start-up to maturity, with a particular emphasis on the core markets of transportation, energy, power, and buildings.
We provide front-end consulting and management services to clients that procure, develop, manage, finance, and invest in infrastructure and property assets. Specific areas of focus include project and policy development, financial and economic analyses, business process analytics, and asset and organizational management.

We are recruiting highly motivated, self-starters with an interest in infrastructure to join a dynamic, multidisciplinary management consulting team. We seek problem solvers who combine strong written and verbal communications skills, demonstrated quantitative and analytical skills, experience in advising public and/or private clients, and the ability to develop innovative solutions independently and master new concepts quickly to deliver high quality work.
Based in Sacramento, CA, the successful candidate will be part of a management consulting team working on national and international engagements, including the California High-Speed Rail Program. Within the California High-Speed Rail Program, the candidate will join the Strategy & Innovation Team reporting to the Director of Strategy & Innovation. In this role, the candidate and his / her team will support the client's CEO and CFO by managing analytic work that guides strategic planning and decision making.
This position also offers opportunities where the successful candidate will work on engagements to advise public sector clients on the funding, finance, operational performance and delivery of major capital projects and a variety of related infrastructure management and policy issues. This position will entail tasks such as analyzing needs and opportunities, evaluating alternatives and priorities, developing the business case for infrastructure investments, analyzing project and program funding and financing options, implementing new management and business processes, reviewing and interpreting federal and state legislation and guidance, quantitative analyses, and providing strategic support in all phases of infrastructure planning and project development. Finally, the successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate strong management skills, lead projects and coach a team of associate consultants.
