WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff has an immediate opening in our Baltimore, MD office for a Senior Supervising Engineer/Roadway Civil Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and grow a group of civil design professionals working on a wide variety of transportation projects throughout eastern Maryland.

As a key member of the Senior Management team, this leadership position will actively contribute to the overall success of the office by helping to set objectives, develop strategies and carry out initiatives that support the company's business plan. The successful candidate will also be part of the larger WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff family, with opportunities to interact with transportation professionals across the United States and around the world.

Responsibilities include:
      • Business development and client relationship activities
      • Lead pursuit efforts, including preparation of proposals and participating in interviews
      • Serve as project manager or engineering lead on projects
      • Ensure quality of services provided to clients
      • Manage and support civil engineering staff development and training
      • Determine staffing levels needed for projects and work share with other offices
      • Maintain schedule, budget, and profitability of assigned projects

Job Requirements
The ideal candidate:
      • A recognized leader in the transportation industry
      • An excellent communicator
      • Have strong business development and client relationship management skills
      • A strong project manager with a track record of delivering quality products
      • Have experience managing and mentoring staff
      • A team player

The candidate should possess the following minimum requirements:
      • A minimum of 15 years of experience in the transportation industry (public or private sector)
      • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
      • PE required
