KEY SKILLS:- Customer facing skills & experience that promote safety, accuracy of supplied information and delivery of a 1st class Public Transportation system within a world leading ski resort location. Administration of twitter account and BC Transit web site for posting of transit events and changes to service. Business Communication experience (company newsletters & events, company promotion on social network platforms). Ability to use Microsoft applications (Word and Excel) at the basic to intermediate level. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Dispatch drivers according to a pre-defined procedure. 2. Monitor radio communications and promote Driver-Transit Supervisor communications. 3. Post and reply to twitter feed and post alerts and service changes on BC Transit web site. 4. Investigate and report on Service Requests & Feedback, including passenger complaints. 5. Minimum 3 day work week 7:00 AM until 5:30 PM (Fri, Sat & Sun - 10 hours/day, plus Stat Holidays). 6. Ability to work with a unionized workforce. 7. Seasonal dates are Nov 16th 2016 to April 17th 2017.
