Job Description:

Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, this position will drive the overall digital marketing strategy for the development of NA and consumer relationships. The successful candidate will be a strong team leader who is comfortable leading cross functional teams and delivering results on time and on budget. You must have strong organizational skills, be an independent self starter and have a solid understanding of on-line programs and promotions. You will have a post secondary education with specialization in marketing or business, along with 3 years of digital marketing experience. Bilingual in French and English is preferred but not required. You must be able to travel in Canada and the United States. As a strong communicator you must also have excellent presentation, analytical and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point is required. Working experience with Demandware platform and Drupal 7 is an asset. Principle responsibilities for the role are: NA Brand Equity & Maintenance: Coordinate and manage updates for brand enhancing site content (monthly) and navigation (as required). Include conducting ongoing site audits, product and promotion updates & on-line consumer research. NA Sales & Marketing: Execute plans to build e-commerce and site promotion. Work with US to implement test and translate tactics such as SEM, SEO, email, display & programmatic advertising. Manage NA inventory - attend weekly/biweekly calls regarding inventory, audit for out of stock items and update and add Sale items. Retailer digital marketing - Develop custom Timex promotions for retailer social media. Leverage promotions to access and optimize retailer sites; including optimization of Timex in-site search, provide video assets, new product content, creation of Timex brand pages CRM Database: Develop and execute tactics to build a high quality consumer databases. Coordinate the local adaptation of regular US mailings to consumers in this database. Continue to build B2C database through social media promotions and email marketing software. Provide detailed analytics/evaluations Provide local support for the testing, implementation and management of new software and digital platforms (i.e. Drupal 7, Demandware) Internal Support: Provide digital marketing support and guidance to Sales Managers as required. Update and educate S&M teams on best digital practices for in-market application and digital marketing trends. Consumer Care: Refer or respond to consumer inquiries, reviews, suggestions and complaints relative to NA content and navigation (includes social media platforms, Facebook and Twitter). Work with CRS to establish proper communication and response templates. Develops short term and long term marketing objectives, including recommending sales volumes, site traffic and conversion Complete a monthly analysis of KPI's for NA, social media, coupons, youtube, SEM, e-mail and display ad programs. Analyze marketing trends and potential. Competitive Tracking: Monitor key competitor websites and other best in class sites to recognize, report on and recommend response to local market threats and opportunities Develop relationships with key US digital marketing contacts and coordinate activities to leverage US efforts wherever possible Establish, control and adjust marketing expenses within predetermined guidelines Participate in the planning and execution of all National Sales meetings; QBR's and related sales support materials. Attend key local digital marketing conferences to stay current on evolving digital marketing issues. Coach, mentor and evaluate Brand Assistant & Marketing Production Designer with a view to developing deeper and broader marketing, general business and managerial skill sets.
