The successful candidate will lead the resolution of NX/Teamcenter problems affecting all disciplines to support the VIRGINIA and OR Programs. The candidate must have working knowledge of the NX/Teamcenter infrastructure and documented design processes. The candidate must have an ability to assess the impact to existing work methods from new tasks. The candidate will have an understanding of task development and use case testing to implement software and be able to evaluate issues and determine root causes to develop solutions. The candidate will have experience in testing (ie. developing test cases, validating software) and the test and training environments and their relationship to the production environment. The candidate will have an in depth understanding of critical NX/Teamcenter functionalities (i.e. welding, view authoring, workflow, etc.) and the downstream impacts. The candidate will evaluate software and modelling issues and determine root causes to develop solutions. A working understanding of the production support role and the responsibility and resolution of production support trouble tickets is key. The candidate will participate in, and present at, necessary meetings and program reviews.
Candidate should possess the following:
Ability to troubleshoot
Evaluate software/modeling issues and determine root-causes to develop solutions
Demonstrated ability working with Production Support
Understanding of Production Support role, responsibility, and resolution of trouble tickets
In depth understanding of current practices and procedures and ability to access impact from new tasks
Experienced in Testing (developing test case, validating software, etc.).
Understands the testing and training environments and their relationship to production
In depth understanding of task development and testing use case to implement CRs
Understands the infrastructure of Teamcenter and NX
Understands the prerequisites of welding and the what it requires from interacting disciplines, and the downstream impacts
Works in a collaborative environment
Proven ability to articulate high level functionality while considering details
Ability to describe complex problems and their affects on business practices to all level of management
Ability to work independently
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
Possess strong planning and program management skills
Must be able to make decisions independently
Well organized
Ability to adapt to changing schedules and priorities
Ability to apply innovative thinking and problem solving to resolve complex problems
Ability to identify risks and opportunities
Experience working with OR/VA design and engineering processes
