Job Description:

My client, a boutique Benefits firm in North Vancouver is currently seeking a Manager of Administration. As part of the Management Team, this position has overall management responsibility for administration services, workflow and processes, including the development and the lead for Third Party Benefits Administration and Office Administrative Services teams who are responsible for processes and procedures focused on providing efficient, accurate and timely services for their clients. This role pays very well depending on experience with excellent benefits and room for advancement. For immediate consideration please call Abby Rubin (604) 836 - 2672 and email resume to NA § Lead business and system-related process optimization with a focus on benefits service model and the client's perspective of value-added products and services. § Lead, mentor and manage team performance, ensuring team and personal objectives are met; staff is trained and effective in their roles. § Work closely with IT as primary business lead to optimize programs and supporting systems making processes more efficient and user friendly, which will include gathering feedback and testing as part of business review of internal systems. § Proactively work with Account Management, Business Development and Client Services teams to ensure effective on boarding of clients and that ongoing services meet specific client needs. § Identify service and administrative process improvements and where possible implement resulting changes. § Provide clients high-level support for quality services in managing their benefit services § Manage administrative services provided for health spending accounts and provincial health programs § Manage ongoing documentation of administrative business processes for my client's Processes and Procedures Manual to ensure complete training and support in managing client and internal administrative services § Manage and understand employer HR issues as they relate to benefits, and ensure my client's service model aligns and adds value to the employer. § Knowledge and compliance of group benefits legislation, and utilization of industry best practices. Required § Minimum five (5) years group benefits and/or senior administrative management experience, preferably in a Insurance/Benefits environment, focused on client services and administration § Good understanding of system support requirements for optimal business processes § Direct people management experience for a small team
