Cummins South Pacific is presently seeking a highly motivated technical sales and support professional to join our Central Region team, the role is based at our flagship Wetherill Park facility in a Customer Support Representative role, where success will be founded upon an ability to grow sales whilst achieving market penetration and securing brand preference across various industry groups.
Reporting to the Regional Aftermarket Sales Leader, broad responsibilities of this key business development position include procuring business from new and existing customers, driving retail sales through cross functional collaboration, creating and managing customer value plans and maintaining customer relationships by displaying an in depth knowledge of Cummins products and services.
More specifically you will implement regular customer call cycles, develop comprehensive proposals and quotations, keep abreast of product applications and technical updates and ensure current knowledge of market conditions and competitor activities.
To be considered for this rewarding career development role you will possess a clearly demonstrable track record of sales success in an Aftermarket sales environment (Automotive/Mining/Rail/Industrial/Marine), excellent communicative abilities, relevant computer skills (Microsoft Office suite and current CRM software) and a valid driver's license. Additionally, you should display competencies in financial analysis, presentation and negotiation and an ability to influence commercial and technical customers simultaneously. Formal sales training and/or related qualifications will be highly regarded.
