This long established Central London consultancy has an exciting opening for a QS to come and join the team.
This is a rare opportunity for someone to be given ample exposure and experience, along with a good balance of support and autonomy, as part of a fast track plan to becoming associate level.
You will be reporting directly to one of the Partners, without restriction on responsibility, as part of a small and quality focused team. With a view to becoming an integral part of the business over the short term, they are looking for someone with the hunger, talent and confidence to step in and move at an exciting pace.
Aside from your day to day cost plans and conducting of tender analysis duties, you will be meeting and liaising with existing clients and become educated in how to be a key element in the process of winning and developing new business.
You will be adaptable in your ability to work as not only a QS but turn your hand to employers agent work also. As a result of a combination of these roles you will develop skills in negotiation, risk recognition and managing all stages of project life cycle, on your way to becoming an established quantity surveyor.
Not yet gained MRICS status? No problem. The Directors are willing to take on someone part way through their APC and provide the time, training and support required to successfully gain Chartership.
Alongside Residential Developments, Education and Commercial schemes you will be involved in some interesting projects across the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors enabling you to gain an understanding of how the importance of time, quality and cost on each project can vary across different sectors.
