We're developing integrated and innovative software solutions which are helping NHS clinicians deliver safer, more effective and more efficient health care to patients.
About the role...
As Software QA Engineer you'll be a key member in the development and maintenance of our core products and services used by over 50% of GP practices in the UK and thousands of front-line clinicians .We recently launched another first in our market, a citizen health record that integrates with Apple's HealthKit!
You'll work as part of an agile team; creating, maintaining and executing automated functional and non-functional test suites throughout the application lifecycle management toolset.
Working as part of a wider team, you'll use your superb communication skills to work collaboratively with our product owners in the definition of requirements and our developers to deliver the excellent quality software for our customers.
This role would be perfect for you if you already have some experience of web or mobile testing, and would like to use these skills to progress within a career in technology.
This role is based in Rawdon, Leeds but may require travel to other sites.
You'll work as part of a wider department of 250+ people across multiple locations. We're organised into groups of multi-skilled teams focused on specific domain areas of the software, our 30+ development teams are fully supported by dedicated architects, database, security and clinical safety specialists.
Who you are...
We want to make sure you're set for success, this isn't all about your skills and that is why we would love to talk to you even if perhaps you don't fit all of the below;
+ experience of modern testing techniques, with some exposure to BDD, user stories and acceptance criteria
+ exposure to using automation tools and maintaining automated tests
+ any experience of iOS applications would be useful
+an understanding of modern programming techniques, relevant languages and technologies such as C#, WPF, MVVM and Swift would be ideal
+ any experience of working with agile methodology, in a cross functional team would be useful
+ superb communication skills both verbally and written are a must
+ a passion to learn new skills and technologies to add to your personal development
