You will be part of the Product Development Engineering, Aerospace team where it all starts for Bombardier as it sets the stage to take full advantage of its investments and the tremendous growth potential of its new products. The organization is responsible for bringing new aircraft programs to their successful entry-into-service. Currently, these new products are the all-new CSeries commercial aircraft and the high-performance Global 7000/Global 8000 business jets.

In your role, you will:
  • Support Flight Test System Engineers on various flight test programs. The primary responsibility of our team is the design, integration, and operation of specialized equipment used to support aircraft flight testing.
  • Assist our Engineering Staff in the conduct of daily business to enhance their productivity.
  • Create/modify electrical wiring designs under direct Engineering supervision.
  • Build, program, and test specialized flight test equipment.

As our ideal candidate,
  • You must have an interest in the field of Aviation.
  • You must be attending a college or University pursuing a Bachelor's degree or Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering Technology or Computer Science with a planned graduation date within the next 2 years.
  • You must have a basic understanding of Low Voltage DC circuits, analog to digital conversion, and computer hardware.
  • You should have basic skills in computer aided drawing systems (such as Autocad) and programming languages (such as C, C , C#, Perl, and Python).
  • You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • You must be able to work in a multi-disciplinary team in a results-oriented environment.
  • You must be able to meet your commitments and be willing to learn.
