OverviewA forward-thinking, creative and dynamic worker is required to join our innovative children's play project in Farsley, Leeds. You will assist in all operational aspects of and ensure the smooth running of the factory and exceptional customer service of the operation. You will have some experience of planning and delivering operations within a busy environment and entertainment ideas and solutions or be able to demonstrate a willingness to develop these skills; you will also be a good communicator, reliable and enthusiastic. The Operations Officer will be responsible for the day to day management of the centre and will play a key role in all activities including special events. It essential that you have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and the ability to relate to the varying needs of the customers. This role will require someone who is creative thinking and can develop opportunities to increase guest participation and serve the needs of both the children and parents. This role will be ideal for a graduate with a relevant degree or for someone with experience looking for a change. This post is subject to pre-employment checks and a Satisfactory DBS disclosure. Organisation: The Rainbow Factory is Leeds first interactive magical factory where children's favourite storybooks come to life! It's a step away from entertainment options like soft play centres, and aims to harness the power of storytelling to offer parents, carers and extended family members, a more constructive, educational and creative play environment for young children. The Rainbow Factory aims to reawaken children's imagination and get Leeds reading again - through play, we build confidence and interest in reading once again that will provide a life-long benefit. You can find out more about the Rainbow Factory here NA Duties: Assist in the management of the stated areas ensuring a smooth and efficient NA to the Director on a regular basis and assist with NA the set up and maintenance of all café & front of house service areas. Assist in the management of effective reservations, online ticketing and the fulfilment of the birthday programs. Manage the welcoming of customers to the Rainbow Factory. All enquires made in person or over the phone must be handled to the standards of the Rainbow Factory. Oversee and assist in the management of stocks, resources, suppliers and deliveries and re-order when necessary. Ensure that all duties are carried out in accordance with statutory Health and Safety requirements, including food hygiene regulations. Assist in the management of all payment transactions in accordance with the Rainbow Factory financial polices and procedures and to handle all transactions with diligence, honesty and integrity. Support colleagues at peak times and to undertake any operational duty, which might be reasonably required, to ensure customer expectations are met. Ensure and maintain an excellent level of service to customers at all NA high standards of cleanliness within the factory.
