Job Description:

QA Analyst Position They will be responsible for understanding, supporting, analyzing, documenting, maintaining and testing erp application software, products and process flows and will provide second level support to the business. They will work with customers to gather information, analyze the root-cause and provide resolutions, creating system documentation and maintenance to ensure our clients knowledge is updated and best practices are upheld. Responsibilities: Define and document business and user requirements; and translate user and/or system requirements into technical specifications Conduct thorough analysis of established fact-finding procedures, knowledge of pertinent work processes and procedures Collaborate with customers, developers, and analysts to identify areas for improvement and development to applications systems Review and analyze feasibility of current system application enhancements, fixes and proposed changes Participate in IT release meetings for maintenance and development initiatives Provide on-call and on-site support and problem resolution Collaborate with customers, developers and analysts to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner Escalate issues to management and/or the software vendor, if required Acting as an information resource by sharing technical expertise and knowledge for projects and software enhancements Create new documentation with technical solutions and analysis based on business needs related to e-commerce, corporate systems and other enterprise software package Maintain existing documentation Review and analyze business, project requirements and identify the detailed test requirements Develop quality assurance scripts and plans for release Conduct quality assurance testing Job Knowledge, Skills & Credentials: University or College Degree/Diploma in computer science, software engineering or information technology 3-5 years of industry experience QA testing experience 2 years of industry experience in providing support to end customers on enterprise, corporate, e-commerce and web applications Knowledge in Java, .Net, SQL queries Proven experience in customer and business application support Proven experience with Retail systems and or distribution business and software development design procedures an asset Strong debugging skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Self-starter, willing to learn, take ownership, and follow tasks through to completion Highly adaptive, comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced, technical environment
