SERVICE MANAGER ELECTRICAL My client, an Electrical & Mechanical Construction firm is currently seeking an experienced Service Manager to oversee its Electrical Service Department. The Electrical Service Manager carries out all duties required for the successful operation, service and maintenance of electrical functions of Commercial facilities, mid-rise and high-rise condominium buildings, multifamily dwellings, office parks and shopping centers. The Ideal candidates will have a broad understanding of all functional areas of a typical business (accounting, production, information systems, and marketing) operating in today's dynamic environment. Minimum Requirements:(5) years experience of managing electricians and service technicians in a commercial electrical service & maintenance operation(5) years experience in Service Management and DispatchExcellent written and oral communication skills; working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are requiredExperience and knowledge of electrical applications, permits, electrical maintenance goals, Facility Maintenance Application & PM standardsRed Seal Journeyman Electrician Ticket would be an asset Essential Responsibilities:Manage the administrative and customer service functions of the Service DepartmentAbility to generate new business, tender bids, and generate contractsMaintain open and positive communication (both in verbal and written form) with employees, departments, customers and vendorsEnsure compliance with company policies and recommend policy changes as neededResponsible for the efficient operation of the Service Department and expense controlProactive and reactive management of all service personnel including hiring, training, motivation, career development, reviews and safetyAnalyze service productivity and recommend changes to improve customer service and profitabilityMaintain high quality service delivery in an efficient, productive and profitable mannerMaintain ongoing maintenance schedules for service accountsOrganize, coordinate and schedule all scheduled maintenance, replacement and Customer service work
