The Position

To work as part of the Projects / Technical Sales team of a Facilities Management company to assist in the estimating of work costings to customer requirements within timescale and budget, to log enquiries and manage the timely production of quotations to achieve targets. To recognise when technical problems are developing, to raise them efficiently with the Project Manager to ensure appropriate corrective actions are initiated.

Desired Experience & or Qualifications

• A Levels or equivalent
• Computer Literacy
• Engineering Experience
• Dealing with customers, contractors and suppliers and the ability to communicate technical information
• Good administration skills for appropriate audit trail of documentation
• Preparing quotations to customer specifications
• Experience of working with bespoke service operating systems
• Knowledge of M&E Equipment, some Fabric knowledge would also be advantageous
• Experience within a related market i.e. HVAC or Building Services

Typical Duties

• Selecting the correct equipment, estimating costs and producing equipment for M&E System installation quotations in line with customer specifications
• Providing technical support to colleagues and customers
• Assisting with incoming sales calls
• Logging of enquires
• Helping to maintain the customer database
• Producing equipment layout / schematic drawings
• Assisting in the work associated with the running of cooling system installations and equipment when the need arises
• Costing sheet and quote template development / upgrading

Remuneration Package

Annual Basic Salary circa £28,000, dependent on experience for a 40 hr week + Holidays and Pension
