Content Manager
£30-35000 plus good benefits

This national charity helps people with a wide range of disabilities to live independently. This role will design and manage a range of online services to support that independence. These will include using social media to provide on line resources and information.

The Role:
To deliver and develop specialist advice content for all services online, in print and by telephone.
Produce compelling and accessible text appropriate to a range of audiences including the public and healthcare professionals
Recommend improvements to content and content strategy.
To develop and police copy guidelines
Manage, identify and recruit the best content contributors to ensure all advice is regularly reviewed
Lead the development of new content and compliance with company standards
Produce articles about the services for placement in external and social media
Develop and instigate and coordinate several projects, especially ones with a substantial knowledge management component

Experience Required:
Creating and sourcing online information resources
Designing, constructing and maintaining in-house databases of relevant material, including library catalogue and information asset maintenance schedules
Able to source relevant information about services from on-line and hard copy for placement in external media
Use traditional and social networking to provide information resources to user communities
Ability to work to deadlines and to balance projects and priorities
Provision to offer a referencing service and raise awareness of information resources with colleagues
Interpret complex information and provide accessible, accurate copy for a range of audiences
Experience of using performance management approaches and processes to document staff and contractor performance.
High level of interpersonal and communication skills
