Our prestigious client is looking to recruit a Logistics Lead, the successful candidate will have experience of the following -:

 Proven experience in managing a busy logistics/warehouse function with a team of up to 10 members of staff whilst raising skills and capability levels.
 Lead, coach and support team members within the function.
 Effectively manage team members from entry to exit.
 Maintain and conduct effective quarterly and annual performance reviews with team members in line with the HR strategy.
 To develop individuals to achieve the required accreditation's and standards.
 Identify, monitor and maintain resources required within the Logistics team.
 Own, monitor and manage tasks (requests, incidents, changes, problems and project related work) and ensure they are appropriately owned and communicated to customer.
 Manage, monitor and review the systems, processes and tools required within the function to enable an efficient and consistent service in conjunction with other leads within the Business
 Maintain good practice within the function and lead improvements within the function in terms of services, systems, processes and tools.
 To act as the escalation point for Logistics related enquiries and co-ordinate resolution and communication.
 To ensure excellent customer service is demonstrated and embedded within the team.
 To liaise and co-operate with other leads within the business in achieving the organisational goals.
 Ensure the implementation of best practice and compliance with internal procedures, routines and protocol including security, safety and regulatory.

Operational Duties
 To ensure transport, warehouse, inventory and media related tasks are carried out in a timely and professional manner delivering exceptional customer service at all times.
 To effectively liaise with Team members to provide awareness and engagement with ongoing activities and resourcing.
 To ensure that all Change Requests, Incidents, Service and Access Requests are approved, implemented and updated within required timescales and to the required process and standard whilst effectively communicating with the customer, meeting customer requirements at all times.
 To ensure all physical areas under the responsibility of Logistics, are kept organised and tidy at all times adhering to Health and Safety guidelines at all times
 To escalate to the Business Services Manager any significant Business impacting issue and/or any situation that is beyond current level of experience or knowledge.
 To provide monthly Logistics statistics to the Business Services Manager as requested.
 To adopt a 'hands on' Leader approach, filling any role within the Logistics department as required and supporting other team members in order to deliver continued exceptional customer service.
 To continually seek ways to improve the customer experience and services delivered by the Logistics function.
 To maintain an ongoing register of service improvements clearly demonstrating customer and business benefit.

 Previous Management experience
 5 years experience in Logistics function
 ILM Level 3 (or equivalent) Qualifications in team leading desirable
 Ability to conduct staff training
 Experience in operating fork lift trucks or stackers.
 Competent driver with clean driving licence.
 Sound geographical knowledge
 Intermediate level of Microsoft Office skills
 PC literate to enable effective use of Business applications.
 Previous experience in Warehouse Management systems and applications.
 Proven experience in improving processes and procedures.
 Proven experience in managing a busy logistics/warehouse function with a team of up to 10 members of staff whilst raising skills and capability levels
