Morgan King are looking for a Sales manager to work for an Asbestos Consultancy company in the city centre.|
Job duties & responsibilities:
Produce sales forecast and actual sales report by client, sector and service delivered. Weekly, detailed and accurate report produced.
Provide high level management information within the Weekly Report for the management meeting. This to include any additional key information at this level including high value tenders, quotations or opportunities. Weekly, detailed and accurate report produced.
Provide high level strategic management information to be presented at Board level. Monthly, detailed and accurate report produced.
Collaborate closely with Client Services, Commercial, Planning, and Operational Managers to develop sales strategies and improve margin and utilisation. Weekly, detailed and accurate report produced.
Maintain computerised customer and prospect database and development of new system with Internal IT department. Daily update.
Attend training to develop knowledge and skills. As required prior to authorisation.
Fostering good relationships with clients, to help maximise contract values and adhere to the company's procedures. No clients will be allocated to the Sales Manager, but regular communication or presence with the client is required to support Business Development Managers and show continuity, should there be a change of Account Manager.
Have good communication skills both written and verbal, have excellent client facing / organisational / people management / leadership skills and have the drive to take the business forward. Based on feedback.
Support, lead and oversee a group of Business Development Managers, Procurement Manager and Sales & Marketing Co-Ordinator. Daily management.
Recruit & hire new sales and marketing employees. As required in liaison with the HR Manager.
Prepare & plan for the sales team, and ensure its successful execution. Daily requirement. Evidence recorded.
Maintain accurate records of sales and client information. Daily management.
Operate within the budget of the department. Weekly, detailed and accurate report produced.
Ensure that set sales goals set consistently met. Produce reports on reasons for the success or failure to meet targets and provide solutions if necessary. Weekly, detailed and accurate report produced.
Designing / implementing sales plans to accommodate department goals for company services. Directing sales forecasting activities and setting performance goals accordingly. Weekly, detailed and accurate report produced.
Creating cost effective strategies to acquire major sales opportunities. To be commercially aware. To advise the business of the current market place and be aware of target clients.
Scrutinising sales results, trends and KPI's and conferring with representatives accountable for achieving targets. Weekly, detailed and accurate report produced.
Acting as primary contact to the Directors for all sales issues and keeping them abreast of Legislation to ascertain their effect on sales and marketing performance. Report on legislation changes that will affect how we would sell a product and it would be costed.
Monitoring and management of marketing opportunities. Weekly, detailed and accurate report produced.
Overseeing the implementation of the CRM system and the management thereof. Weekly, detailed and accurate report produced.
Overseeing the continued updates to the Company websites. As required prior to authorisation.
Updating and maintaining sales and marketing literature. Weekly, detailed and accurate report produced.
Attend exhibitions, trade shows, marketing and meet the buyer events. As required prior to authorisation
