FPS have been engaged to help source a Site Supervisor who is experienced within the water industry, our client is an established leader within the engineering and building industry. They offer a wide range of services from construction and civil engineering, mechanical and electrical engineering, to property development and facilities management. The Group encompasses a number of individual companies and subsidiaries, each with its own specific focus, resourced by staff with specialist skills. While each company operates independently, they are all intrinsically linked and regularly work closely together. This gives the Group the ability to successfully deliver a wide range of building projects, offering a seamless joined-up approach across all areas of expertise.
Due to an increase in workload, they are seeking an experienced site supervisor to work on Water Utility assets in the Worcestershire, Warwickshire and Gloucestershire areas. You will be responsible for the supervision of direct labour and sub-contractors, undertaking H&S audits and ensuring works being undertaken is in line with company standards and clients authorisations. You will also be required to assist with the preparation of contract quotations and supporting project engineers in delivery of projects to agreed SLA's. Your main duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
* Supervision of direct and sub-contractor labour
* Auditing of works and ancillary equipment
* Issuing of sub-contractor authorisations and RAM's
* Assist in the scoping and quoting of works
* Convening and attending sub-contractor Pre-Contract meetings.
* Delivery of H&S performance & reporting in-line with company standards
* General office and site administration
It is essential that you hold a relevant supervisory qualification along with a relevant CSCS card. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of waste and water techniques and processes and will have worked on multiple waste and water assets in the utility sector. You will have worked in a similar role and have experience of supervising multi-disciplined teams. It goes without saying that you will be methodical, accurate with excellent attention to detail; you will also be an excellent communicator who enjoys working in a busy and thriving environment.
