Our client provide Information Management Services and Solutions to maximise the utility of data and provide decision making insight across the asset and service lifecycle, within the Defence, Energy and Utilities Sectors.

We are currently looking to engage a Contract Supportability Engineer for a period of approximately 12 months in Barrow in Furness. Candidates should have and understanding and experience of working in accordance with support related policies, standards and guidance. Candidates will need current and active SC Clearance.

Previous experience should include:

* An awareness of marine systems operation, maintenance and support requirements
* An awareness of the application of Integrated Logistics Support within complex projects
* An awareness of "In-service" support arena including maritime operations, submarine systems operations, maintenance and support requirements
* The ability to develop close working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders & interfaces to progress business and programme demands
* Experience in forming and delivering quantitative technical arguments and cases for implementing opportunities or managing risk
* Relevant design support experience in a defence and / or services environment
* A detailed understanding of the level of support required by the Supplier Base
* Analysis and generation of supplier data and information required by the Supportability Engineering (SE) programme
* Establishing sound working relations with the Supply Chain to co-ordinate and ensure coherent activities
* Distribution and review of supplier deliverables
* Interrogation of various databases in order to locate all supplier deliverables to aid production of metrics
