Our client is looking to recruit for an experienced Process Engineer to work day shifts.|
This role will be responsible for the engineering aspects of the day to day running of the assigned area and the long term Strategic planning and execution of projects related to Continuous Improvement, New Product Introduction and new equipment introduction in conjunction with the Engineering Manager, Manufacturing Leaders and other supporting functions. The position holder will strive to delivering world class, cost effective engineering solutions through sustainable engineering practices in accordance with the appropriate regulations. (FDA, ISO-13485, etc) as part of the relevant manufacturing area.

Work independently against priorities set by the manufacturing leaders and engineering manager
Responsible for the day to day engineering activities within the assigned area.
Ensuring all equipment, tooling and/or fixtures are fit for purpose and available in the required quantities
Designing and introducing new processes for the area that meet the specific needs and requirements of the area
Drive productivity and cost savings through equipment and efficiency improvements, lean techniques and scrap reduction
Ensure support introduction for validated packaging arrangements and support the day to day packaging processes
Accountable for the health and safety aspects of existing and new equipment in conjunction with manufacturing management, Engineering Management and the H&S Officer.
Lead and deliver projects related to the area, defining timeline, costs and outputs for the projects
Prepare and submit technical reports and presentations related to process engineering activities and equipment
Provide operating manuals and supporting documentation for all processes and equipment developed within the process engineering group
Adopt a collaborative and inclusive approach ensuring good communication links across all disciplines as part of the manufacturing team
Key Skills & Experience
Experienced Engineer in a Regulated manufacturing environment (Medical, Aeronautical, Automotive, etc)
Experienced at designing and implementing processes & equipment
Experienced in risk analysis and mitigation in a manufacturing environment
Excellent problem solving skills with strong project management and communication skills.
CAD experience with ability to create and read drawings
Familiar with industry standards and certification such as ISO 13485 and drive efforts to ensure products and process conform to Quality Management Systems standards
B.S.C in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Engineering or other similar discipline as a minimum
